Flockly runs inside Shopify admin. It brings product selection, social content planning, scheduling and performance reporting into one Shopify-embedded workspace.
Before you start
Have access to the Shopify store and the social accounts you intend to manage. Choose your Flockly plan through Shopify billing when prompted. Every plan includes all six supported networks, unlimited scheduled posts and Shop Grid; the analytics, AI and community features differ by plan. See Flockly plans and features for the current comparison.
Complete the four setup steps
- Confirm the Shopify connection. Flockly synchronises the store catalogue so product names, photos and links can be used in posts and Shop Grid. If the store cannot be reached, refresh Flockly inside Shopify admin before continuing.
- Link your social channels. Connect at least one account if you want to publish immediately. You can skip this step and explore first, but publishing remains unavailable until a channel is connected. Follow connecting social accounts when a network needs a Page or board selection.
- Choose the audience regions. These help set best-time suggestions to the audience's timezone. If you skip this step, Flockly uses the store timezone until you add an audience later in Settings.
- Enter your workspace. The final setup screen confirms the catalogue, connected channels and audience choice. Select Enter Flockly to open the workspace.
You can add or remove channels later from Connections and update audience regions from Settings. Skipping an optional onboarding choice does not remove it from the app.
Create your first post
- Select Create Post from the app header or the first-post prompt on Home.
- Start with a Shopify product, Shopify media or a supported file from your device.
- Choose one or more connected channels.
- Add the caption and media, then review the version and requirements for each channel.
- Choose Save draft if the post still needs work, or select a future date and time to schedule it.
The calendar is a focused view of your plan, not a limit on how far ahead you can schedule. You can plan next week, a month or campaigns much further into the future. The full workflow is covered in creating and scheduling posts.
What to expect after setup
- Home shows upcoming posts, drafts, failed posts that need attention and a recent performance summary.
- Calendar is where you review future content and move eligible scheduled posts to another date.
- Content keeps drafts available until they are ready to schedule.
- Analytics separates social-attributed Shopify results from the store's complete revenue.
- Community brings supported comments and messages into Flockly.
- Shop Grid gives you a hosted, shoppable link-in-bio page.
Flockly's calendar and publishing controls continue to work when the Help assistant is unavailable.
If setup does not look complete
- Open Flockly from the Shopify admin rather than a standalone browser tab so the app can verify the store and billing session.
- If a channel was connected in the network's authorisation page but does not appear in Flockly, return to Connections and select Refresh status.
- If a channel shows Reconnect required, reconnect it before scheduling new posts to that destination.
- If products are missing, check Connections → Manage products. Turning a product off removes it from Flockly's product choices, tagging, comment links and Shop Grid, but it remains in Shopify.
Need help?
Use Help & Support inside the app or contact Flockly. Include your Shopify store name when the question is account-specific. Never include a Shopify or social-network password.
