Why an order may not be attributed

Learn which social journeys can count toward attributed revenue and why an order may not appear in a social view.

Reviewed 2026-09-06

Flockly attributes Shopify orders when the customer journey indicates a tracked social or Shop Grid link, for example through UTM parameters or a recognised social referrer. It does not claim every order as social revenue.

Why a qualifying journey can be missing

Some journeys cross devices, use an ad blocker or arrive by another route, so they may not be counted. Orders from email, direct type-in or unrelated campaigns are not claimed as social revenue. Paid ads can appear in the same channel view when their UTM or referrer matches that channel.

Treat attribution as measurement

Revenue attribution is a measurement, not a guarantee or audited financial record. Starter shows an overview attributed total, Growth and Scale add sales by channel, and Growth and Scale add Shop Grid tap, order and revenue attribution.
